Sumner Public LIbrary

 

Originally built in 1915, the primary challenge was to design an expansion that respected the existing exterior and interior architecture.  Key design elements were modern interpretations of finishes, furniture and woodworking details reminiscent of the existing space as well as updating and restoring some of the historic elemets.
